You have spilt and unleashed an outpouring.
Your current container can’t hold you: you’ve realized too much, become too great. You’ve taken cup after cup after cup, held it in your hands, gazed in the pool it contained and turned it over, dumped it out and washed out every trail, every old story with a pouring stream. All this upset has brought enormous release. Where once you were swimming, maybe even drowning, you’re ready to stand on your own two feet. You’re ready to walk away and follow your steps into something new. Like a great flood that washed away cities, you’re ready to wipe your slate clean and begin yet again. Take down—dismantle—everything that you’ve built, everything that’s been built around you. It’s clearer now to you from whence you’ve come and, even as it’s unclear exactly where you’re going, you are ready to get to the going.
Follow the expanse that lays before you, embrace the lack of knowing. Ground in the knowledge that your own two feet will get you there. All you have to do is take it one step at a time. Wish yourself luck, embrace your faith, and invest in the power of your autonomy and your authenticity. You’re here at this moment because you’re done being anything other than yourself, done being any lesser version of your fullness.
Take the leap. Allow yourself to be called to—to be pulled beyond reasonable explanation. Take yourself into the wild expanse of the great unknown. Now is the time. Start walking.
