You’re ready.
There is such a desire in you to step out and be recognized for all you have to offer. Desire to be acknowledged. Desire to be seen.
You’re beginning to move toward it—to step into being the brightest version of yourself: dressing in clothes that make you feel good; licensing yourself to claim your authority; resting when you need; surrounding yourself with friends and loved ones; thinking about what nourishes you. There’s a new spark inside you and it’s an ember you’ve been waiting an age to feel ignite. It exciting, even if a little timid—a little tentative.
But there’s something about that glimmer of inner warmth that doesn’t quite feel like enough. There’s an internal yearning for some external applause. You want to rejoice and to be celebrated, but a loneliness is felt lurking. You’re stuck in the limbo between so many hopeful dreams and your inability to fully move toward the visions of yourself you see twinkling in the corner of your eye.
You’re on your way, but the present feels anchored down by judgement and insecurity. You can visualize where you want to be, but you’re stuck confronting, yet again, those same old, familiar blockades you just can’t shake. Hello old habits and tired thoughts, can we please just go our separate ways?
Make no mistake: you are on your way. Already inside of you is that best self: that self who presides over spiritual and bodily care. The self that knows what you need when you need it. The self that listens to its inner knowing. The self that is confident. The self that is sexy and erotically awake. The self that acts in alignment with this inner authority.
You are presently that self that blossoms within this capacity for nutritive care. Create for yourself a verdant inner world of emotional support and affirmation. Allow yourself to feel it. Inhabit it.
Allow yourself to recognize and rejoice within yourself.
Instead of the negative self-talk, shower yourself in an abundance of compliments. Eat from the fruit of your own goodness and allow yourself to savor its sweet taste. Life is full of good. So are you. Let it overflow.
